Its been a good 2 years or so since I blogged. But i guess there are a couple of reasons for the same, pure laziness is the top reason..and of course, work being another. Not that I was stuffed with work or anything..but still the traveling to and fro to work has drained all the energy outta me! Yesterday was my last day at work..well it didn’t feel like it at all. Yes, there was all the "goodbye to you and best of luck to you" repeated several hundred times to several people, but still the fact that I was no longer an "Infoscion" just didn’t sink in.
Anyway my ideal last day would have been to just spend time with my friends and do everything that I usually do one last time. And that’s how my last day was really like, except that I had to run around doing last minute relieving work and I just could not meet some friends who I really wanted to. Anyway what’s over is over. No regrets, no sorrow, just glad that I was able to be a part of a great organization like Infy.
More than anything, Infy served as a platform to meet some really inspiring people, great friends, few good project mates. Besides it also gave me a fresh perspective of things, a reason to pursue my dreams, a clearer vision as to what i should or should not be doing and an opportunity to work in a world class infra-structure.
Anyway time to move on in life, I choose to leave all the bad memories behind and carry with me memories that will bring a smile on my lips every time I think about them. And thanks to everyone who helped me make those happy memories! Adios Infy !
